Regulatory Analyst - JC-259015

Under the supervision of the Program and Project Supervisor of the Revenue Requirements Section, the incumbent is responsible for representing ratepayer interests on issues pertaining to the appropriate revenue requirement and rates associated with proceedings for gas and electric utilities, such as General Rate Cases (GRCs) and other ratemaking cases. These cases encompass all aspects of cost of service, such as determining the appropriate levels of various operating expenses and rate base (infrastructure investment) to be recovered through gas and electric rates.

Public Advocates Office, Revenue Requirements Section / ECOSNG Branch:

The Energy Cost of Service and Natural Gas (ECOSNG) Branch is responsible for representing ratepayer interests in proceedings involving energy general rate cases, utility audits, utility mergers, purchases and sales of utility assets, cost of capital, natural gas procurement and policy, natural gas transmission and storage infrastructure, natural gas cost allocation, and California natural gas transmission and distribution pipeline safety.
