Client Advocate
Position: Client Advocate – Western USA
About the Position:
The Client Advocate is an account retention, continuous improvement, and project implementation specialist focused on growing and retaining existing key end users. The CA will support the Enterprise Accounts team by providing site coverage at our largest accounts and will be extremely responsive to the customer’s needs. Business retentionand improvement is the primary function of this role and will be used as a measurement of performance.
This person should establish multiple contacts within the customer organization to create a barrier to competition and mitigate the impact of employee turnover at the end user. The CA will be the face of the company and reinforce the value and goals of our account program and initiatives by interacting with the end user contacts and continuously adding value to the relationship. The CA will work directly with the Enterprise Directors and Sales Leaders to help identify improvement opportunities and evolving business goals or gaps within our key customer’s fulfillment centers.
Responsibilities:

- Be a multidimensional self-starter that can meet expectations with limited supervision and effective time management
- Travel frequently to customer facilities mostly in a determined geographic region
- Possess project management skills to coordinate and execute an implementation plan / schedule
- Coordinate new account launch activities, machine requisitions, and installations
- Develop relationships with local distribution representation partners and across multiple levels at assigned fulfillment / distribution centers (Operations, Shipping, Packing, Purchasing, etc.)
- Partner with the Pregis tech team to ensure coverage is exceeding customer expectations and facility relationships are being built
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills
- Generate relevant business reports and provide follow-up and recaps on all assigned action items
- Support new product trials and provide updates, customer feedback, and barriers to success along with competitive responses
- Work with new and existing customers to provide packing and equipment operation training
- Assist with building and maintaining customer profiles and strategic account management plans
- Monitor all contact activity, turnover, and any competitive activity
- Identify new opportunities to expand sales at existing sites
- Demonstrate personal and professional effectiveness working in cross-functional teams
Setting:
- Reside in a western US major city: Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Reno, Denver
- Travel to customer sites weekly and maintain a clean driving record
- Productively work remote from home when not traveling
