Summer Intern - IT Workstation Analyst
Alliant Energy is currently recruiting for exciting internship opportunities for Summer 2022!
- Pay: Competitive wage earning between $18.00-$24.00/hour, dependent on the year of schooling completed
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Location: This position will be Virtual or Hybrid (blend of working in the office and virtual). Our offices are based in Madison, WI and Cedar Rapids, IA, applicants must work out of Iowa or Wisconsin.

Job Responsibilities
The Alliant Energy Information Technology department is seeking an IT Workstation Analyst for a Summer 2022 internship!
In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with business customers to deliver solutions that meet business needs, consult on the use of systems, coordinate with other IT teams to implement automated software processes and conduct software package testing. You also will conduct data analysis to identify software packaging opportunities.
Job Qualifications
Education:
- Students pursuing a degree in Information Technology or related major
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors looking to transition into full-time role after graduation
- Demonstrated understanding of software distribution concepts
- Knowledge of Windows 10 and AdminStudio is preferred
- Self-motivated attitude and results-oriented
- Previous professional or internship experience related to this position
- Leadership, club and/or organizational involvement
- An active interest and desire to learn and bring fresh ideas to the utility industry
- Curiosity and willingness to offer new insights
- Demonstrated organizational skills and personal accountability
- Capable of working both independently and in diverse teams
