GID Summer Internship Program. Interns will be evaluated during the interview process and placed on one of three teams, based on their interest, expertise, and core competencies. These three teams are Portfolio and Asset Management, Acquisitions, and Debt and Capital Markets. Each intern will be responsible for supporting their specific team on projects ranging from valuations, market research, data analysis, and reporting.
INTERNSHIP HIGHLIGHTS
Participants will be assigned both a manager and a mentor throughout the course of the internship. Mentors and managers will serve as an intern’s most immediate resource for questions, workload requirement, guidance, and support.
Summer Interns work closely with the members of their team, ranging from Analysts to Senior Vice Presidents. Interns will develop a strong understanding of the multifamily sector and the assets and markets within the various GID portfolios. Interns are encouraged to share ideas and take initiative on projects to support the development of GID’s investor relationships as well as the team's day to day activities. Over the course of the internship program, the interns will gain core competencies and foundational knowledge necessary to succeed in the real estate sector.
The program includes a robust training curriculum designed specifically for summer interns. The skills learned during these sessions will culminate in a presentation delivered at the end of the program to members of GID’s Executive Committee.
Educational and social events are scheduled throughout the program that provide knowledge sharing, professional development and networking.
