How You’ll Help Us Connect the World
As a SW Engineering / Data Analytics Intern, you will be responsible for developing and troubleshooting manufacturing software applications as well as analyzing the collected data for use in machine learning models. You will work closely with other software engineers to enhance functionality in existing applications and analyze collected data to assist operations, quality, and continuous improvement teams in making data driven decisions. This role will be based in Catawba, NC.
You Will Make an Impact By
- Enhancing existing applications by adding / modifying application functionality
- Using data to develop machine learning models to help teams make data driven decisions
- Analyze existing data sets, cleansing and categorizing data, making any recommendations on new data collection techniques and algorithms
- Building out new data dashboards and enhancing existing dashboards
Required Qualifications for Consideration
- Junior or Senior standing in a BS, BA or master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university
- Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
You Will Excite Us If You
- Have experience working with SQL
- Have experience working with either AWS or Azure cloud solutions (data analytics, data storage techniques, machine learning, IoT)
- Data Modeling techniques
- Python, TensorFlow, Apache Spark, AML
- Experience with PowerBI
- Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team
