UPS Global Air Capacity Strategy Analyst

UPS Global Freight Forwarding is looking for motivated professionals to develop and implement innovative, global procurement operational processes. We are looking for creative, self-directed individuals to join our team and strive to achieve exciting and challenging organizational goals.
The Global Air Capacity Strategy Analyst plays a vital role in Procurement's operational strategy by developing, implementing, and managing tactical procurement processes. The processes integrate with UPS's source-to-pay strategy, and span a wide range of commodities and stakeholder groups, including Engineering, Product, Operations, Pricing, and Revenue Management, among others. TheĀ Global Air Capacity Strategy Analyst works cross-functionally with global teams as liaison and stakeholder throughout the iterative project lifecycle.

Responsibilities and Duties
Develops plans, executes, and analyzes risks related to projects
Identifies process improvements
Collaborates with internal stakeholders globally
Communicates strategies and results to leadership
Conducts Operational Process Development and Compliance
Provides Costing and Pricing information
Supports Procurement and Carrier Relations initiatives

Knowledge and Skills
Experience developing and understanding business cases
Process improvement and implementation experience
Demonstrated communication and problem solving skills
Project management skills
Experience using Microsoft Office products (Strong Excel and Access skills) or equivalent software
Experience using Microsoft SQL Server, or other similar tools/programming languages for data analysis such as Python, R, Java, SAS, Matlab, etc.
Up to 10% travel (possibly international)
Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or Marketing - Preferred
