Your role
You’ll review UBS’s businesses, processes and products to understand how they work and the governance and controls in place to prevent errors or losses and detect when things might have gone wrong. In this way, you’ll be helping to strengthen and safeguard UBS. You’ll be part of a diverse, agile, innovative and digitally enabled team with a fascinating view of how a global financial services firm works.
Your team
Globally, Group Internal Audit (GIA) has over 600 professionals working in 21 offices in 15 locations, with teams covering the Investment Bank, Global Wealth Management, UBS Switzerland, Asset Management and Group Functions, including the Chief Digital Information Office, Group Finance and Group Risk Control. You’ll join a team responsible for audit coverage of specific business division or function.

We are an ideal starting point for a career in UBS with a strong focus on driving career growth. Key risks on our radar include financial crime prevention, data management & governance, environmental & social risk and governance and cyber & data protection.
Your expertise
You need to be a junior graduating in December 2021 or May/June 2022 and have a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA. It doesn’t matter what you’re studying. (Really, it doesn’t.) But we’d like to see evidence that you can:

- analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
- plan, organize and communicate well
- make things happen
- stick with a task
- work in a team
- come up with ideas
- learn fast and adapt to change

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re looking for.
Your Program
We know that development opportunities are important to you and we want to make sure you'll be successful. That's why our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) is designed to give you an in-depth introduction to UBS and the audit team you will be part of. We’ll support you in developing the skills you’ll need to succeed, and gaining relevant professional qualifications. The program lasts 18-24 months and you'll start it by participating in the UBS GTP discovery program that will bring you up to speed on our industry, strategy, capabilities and culture.

You will then be involved in audits covering a variety of topics, working with experienced professionals and gaining first-hand knowledge of our business. As you integrate into the team you'll benefit from on- and off-the-job training that will ensure you are a confident and competent contributor. You will gain insight into business processes as well as getting training on financial markets, products and other core topics. Besides all that, you'll attend networking and social events where you'll get to know us and your GTP peers.
