Programmer Analyst

VAANDU is seeking to hire skilled Programmer Analysts to help with the development of our projects. Programmer analysts perform the jobs of both a systems analyst and a computer programmer. Systems analysts design and develop software and computer systems. Computer programmers implement the designs by writing computer programs as well as updating and repairing existing programs.

Your duties will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures, and also working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive knowledge of programming languages and the software development life-cycle. Vaandu specializes in providing training in Oracle, PL SQL, Unix, Python and AWS along with the Functionality of the Financial Industries.

Responsibilities:
Ø Develop and implement new software programs
Ø Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
Ø Directing system testing and validation procedures.
Ø Directing software programming and documentation development.
Ø Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals.
Ø Working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
Ø Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
Ø Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
Ø Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.
Ø Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
Ø Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.
