Business Analytics Intern
Position Summary:
The summer intern will work with the Business Analytics team on at least 4 major projects involving data systems. These projects will augment the Business Analytics Team’s process improvement initiatives and customer reporting tools designed to help the business advance “Leader-Leader” informed decision-making and pursue growth aligned with Strategic Initiatives. Our team is very collaborative with other departments across the company and thus this internship will provide a broad range of experience. Projects will include: 1. Research & Development Sample Tracking: Process overhaul and data improvement 2. Geo-Mapping: investigate new options for display of geographic data 3. Practical Application of Factory Machine Data with exploration of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning techniques 4. Alignment of data systems with Virtual Factory, Customer Focused Teams and Corporate Strategic Initiatives

Requirements:
•Must be very comfortable with Excel and ready to dive into data systems
•Software skills are preferred but enthusiasm for finding solutions to complex problems is required
•Ability to listen closely to business users needs and translate into technical solutions involving data and software
•Must be willing to do tedious work to get to the finish line
•Must be prepared to sell your ideas and results.
Experience and course work with Excel, SQL, PowerBI or other data systems/software should be noted
