As a Graduate Data & Analytics Intern, you’ll gain insight into how we create and execute on many challenges that come with being one of top retailers in the U.S. This internship opportunity will give you access to develop industry-related knowledge and skills in a professional environment, network with Best Buy employees, and explore various career paths with the potential for a full-time offer barring successful completion of the internship.
As a Graduate Data & Analytics Intern, you may work with one of three teams: Decision Science, Data Science or Machine Learning.
Decision Science teams enable leaders to make impactful decisions using data and analytics. They focus on Best Buy’s customers, people, marketing, and products.
Data Science teams develop products and capabilities that focus on being part of a human decision process. They also deliver a stronger understanding of what is driving impact across functions and domains by leveraging complex analysis and deep statistical modeling.
Machine Learning teams build innovative products and capabilities that focus on complete automation of process and/or direct integration into technology products. Team members touch lives through our website, apps, stores, and health products.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Pursuing a master’s or PHD degree from an accredited college/university, graduating between Fall 2022 or Spring 2023
• Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Cumulative GPA 3.0 or above
