The Division of Drinking Water is recruiting for two Research Data Specialist IIs to work in the Resiliency and Data Branch, SAFER Section, Needs Analysis Unit. The positions may be located at any State Water Resources Control Board Division of Drinking Water Field Office in California.

Typical duties include: Working to support the Safe Affordable Fund for Equity and Resiliency (SAFER) program needs through data collection and tracking, data quality review, and data analysis. Support the development and maintenance of data intake and reporting systems. Assist to develop risk indicators for water systems and domestic wells; develop cost estimates to address water system deficiencies; develop processes for auditing drinking water information systems to assess data quality and develop performance metrics; provide support for Human Right to Water metrics.
