Specialist - Production Control (Material Control)

Coordinate, monitor, and perform specialized technical processes and related functions directly related to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to plan

and schedule material for production from domestic, consigned and international suppliers.

 

♦ Effectively communicate with suppliers to provide planning data and problem resolution in a timely manner.

♦ Coordinate and monitor engineering changes to prevent obsolescence or downtime.

♦ Effectively prepare and present reports and information related to shortage problems and communicate to management including reporting weekly/monthly plan vs. result information.

♦ Continually improve the flow of material to reduce the amount of inventory.

♦ Coordinate, monitor, and/or participate in plant-wide Quality Promotion activities and ensure effective communication between all key stakeholders to meet or exceed established goals/expectations.

♦ Partner with other departments to coordinate effective flow of products.

♦ Continuously cycle inventory to monitor inventory levels, making recommendations and adjustments as needed.

♦ Expedite delivery of shortage parts.

♦ Meet all other requirements as assigned.

♦ Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management Systems (BMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and Safety Management Systems (SMS) requirements.

 

♦ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or

Industrial Engineering desired
