Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager
This is a non-partisan position that works closely with a team of three other Analysts and the Operations Services Manager to solve the technology problems of the business. The Senior Business Analyst identifies, investigates, and understands business problems presented, and then researches relevant technology options to resolve them. The Senior Business Analyst enables the execution of business strategy and the delivery of successful business change. To achieve this, this position works closely with other business change disciplines such as program managers and application developers. This position is engaged in all phases of solution delivery and enterprise architecture and will sometimes work as the Project Manager as well as the Business Analyst.
The Office of Legislative Information Services (OLIS) is evolving, as are many technical support teams. The successful candidate for this position is someone who understands process management and improvement; is skilled at understanding and documenting user needs/requirements; wants to be a part of a progressive team; brings best practices; and has a wide range of technical capabilities and skill sets. This position serves the legislative branch in its entirety. An AGILE mindset and experience is preferred.
