This position welcomes Computer Science/Engineering students interested in gaining experience with dealing with real-time market data and trading systems within the financial industry. For the duration of your internship you will become a part of Low Sensitive Electronic Trading (LSET) Development group and have the opportunity to make contributions to various projects while simultaneously learning about the field.
 




RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Maintaining and upgrading Stock Exchange Trading gateways
·        Maintaining and upgrading Market data feed handlers
·        Providing support and maintenance for the production environment
·        Developing unit test classes for different components
·        Contributing to the development of real-time performance, latency measurement, and monitoring tools
·        Enhancing configuration and deployment management system
 



REQUIREMENTS

·        Must be pursing computer Science/Engineering degree
·        GPA 3.5 and above
·        Solid software engineering skills with expertise in C++ programming is a must
·        Knowledge of Linux
·        Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is preferred
·        Knowledge of Git or SVN is preferred
·        Interest in solving complex problems




 

QUALIFICATIONS

Enrolled in or pursuing a Bachelor’s (junior or senior year), Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields.
