2022 Internship - New Business Development Representative - Field Aircraft

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides analysis and assists with the execution of strategic initiatives, with a particular focus on the aftermarket product strategy and roadmap. This position will assist in ensuring business development activities are delivered in accordance with the original strategy set forth by the Aftermarket Business Development leadership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Impact the profitability of the Company through assisting with strategic and tactical management decisions and new business development results.
II. Assist or work under the guidance of Business Development Rep-Sr. or Manager to develop, review and ensure distribution of Aftermarket product sales team training aides, including presentations, videos and electronic brochures.
III. Audit, review and update product information within the Aftermarket electronic product catalog timely, as new programs begin and existing programs expire or as product details and descriptions warrant changes.
IV. Understand, implement and maintain physical item hierarchies (bill of material) for newly developed products and programs.
V. Monitor current and on-going Aftermarket sales programs and promotions. Provide feedback on the effectiveness of such programs and make suggestions for program improvement and new program development.
VI. Maintain an effective working relationship with Service Center Administration and other Product Support and Engineering professionals to ensure proper communication of newly developed products and/or programs.
VII. Responsible for assisting in development of detailed communication plans about new business opportunities and programs in which customers will be targeted and provide those details to the Service Center Network Sales team.
VIII. Conduct or assist in conducting training session videos and presentations for Service Center Administration and sales team members.

Qualifications

 EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or other related field

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong project management skills and ability to network across the company to get things done.
• Ability to contribute individually and participate in cross-functional teams
• Ability to create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines
• Excellent communication skills: written and verbal
• Comfortable in a team oriented, fast paced environment with competing and shifting priorities
