Technical Theater Specialists

French Woods Festival is looking for experienced Technical Theater Specialists to work in the largest children's theater program in the country. French Woods host 84 theater productions, in our 6 theaters, and looking for specialists in: Lighting, Sound, Scenic Design & construction, and many other technical specialties.

French Woods Festival is one of the largest performing and visual arts summer camps in the NE. Staff and campers come from around the world to participate in our full individual choice program with an emphasis in music, art, theater, dance, circus, magic, horseback, sports, and waterfront activities.

We're located in the western Catskills of New York state about 2.5 hours from New York City.

Position is full-time contract for the summer, pays a stipend, room and board, families may be accommodated.

Instructors develop curriculum, teach classes and work within a larger art department. They work with children from 7 to 17 in an individual choice program with 3 week sessions and are expected to have some completed project to show for each 3-week period
