Asset Management Analyst

The Role:
Cypress Creek Renewables is seeking an Asset Management Analyst that is eager to work in a fast-paced role focused on enhancing the profitability of utility-scale solar assets. The Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for supporting the activities required to manage operating solar facilities and will work with the Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management and organizational skills and will be eager to work in the renewables-space.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for supporting team with the management of solar farm tax equity portfolios
  • Review and approve all financial transactions associated with the solar farms
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for investors and lenders
  • Communicate with key holders including financial counterparties and landowners
  • Develop annual budgets and maintain monthly cash forecasting
  • Keep current on reporting for energy regulatory agencies including PUCs, FERC, and EIA


 Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong interest in renewable energy, especially solar
  • Proficient at extracting and summarizing large amounts of data, and analyzing information within contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
  • Basic understanding of energy markets and solar technology including a familiarity with relevant terminology


Preferred Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • BS or BA required
  • Work or classroom experience with renewable energy, preferably solar
  • Work or classroom experience with finance and accounting
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Programming experience preferred, but not required
