Corporate Finance Analyst

The Role
Corporate Finance Analyst to support corporate finance and FP&A efforts working alongside senior leaders to execute and enhance the corporate cash planning, budget, and misc. other ad hoc analysis. Analyst will gain significant exposure to all aspects of the solar industry, including: capital planning, development, project financing and construction via the enhancement and maintenance of financial models, presentations and process flows. The position offers candidates the opportunity to:
  • Gain experience working directly with senior executives in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate with various division leaders to gather accurate data
  • Build and maintain financial models
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis
  • Create clear and concise presentations to support monthly business reporting for executive team, board of directors, and other external investors
  • Design / redesign capital planning processes
  • Build processes to improve data tracking and KPI monitoring
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects

Requirements:
Candidates must be highly motivated and show exceptional career progress to date. Candidates are required to be able to demonstrate:
  • 1-3 years relevant work experience
  • Bachelors or equivalent undergraduate degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Physics or Engineering
  • Strong analytical skills, specifically with finance, accounting, and math
  • High attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of finance and accounting
  • Experience manipulating and presenting large data sets in a digestible manner
  • Modeling experience a plus
  • ERP/Financial planning systems experience a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
  • Experience working in teams
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications

Location: This position is preferably based in Santa Monica, CA but open to remote DOE.
