About the Job
Product/Test/Validation Engineers at Texas Instruments are powered by a passion for enabling production capability and continual improvement. Our solutions make a real difference and yours will, too. We make the semiconductor product design process easier and faster, which helps our customers succeed in today's fast-paced marketplace.
In this role, you’ll support the development and implementation of strategies that achieve profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to your assigned product portfolio, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitate cross-functional teams for problem solving. You’ll also take a leadership role to establish relationships with key contacts in TI wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving.
In this empowering, 18-month rotation program, you’ll be on an accelerated development track that’s focused on the product development cycle. As a program participant, you’ll rotate through two assignments centered on improving product efficiency and quality, which contributes directly to the company’s bottom line.
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to be mentored and develop strong collaboration skills through cross-functional group interaction. You’ll also have the chance to establish customer relationships.
The first rotation assignment places you on a product/test/validation engineering team in one of TI’s product lines for 12 months. During this assignment, you will gain a broad knowledge of the wide range of products within the product line. You will have the opportunity to become proficient with TI’s various handlers and probers, program our testers and bench equipment, and/or gain hands-on experience in designing automated test or bench solutions (software and hardware) to test devices.
This rotation is followed by a 6-month assignment to introduce you to a different perspective through another hands-on experience with the products in an adjacent role and/or within another TI product line or TI’s Test, Technology Group area.
At the end of your program, you’ll become a member of one of our product/test teams where you will work on leading-edge semiconductor technologies while improving efficiency and quality and directly contributing to Texas Instruments’ bottom line.
Put your talent to work with us – change the world, love your job!
