Data Governance Intern

Welcome to the exciting world of Enterprise Data Governance. As a large multifaceted organization where data drives what we do, data governance is critical. At Change Healthcare, our Enterprise Data Governance team leads facilitates our business owners through the management of our key data efforts, from organizing our data (metadata management), to data quality reporting and curating our most critical master data sets.

What will I be responsible for in this job? (brief summary of the role)
This internship position will be expanding our data catalog, working to build workflows and processes to metadata is up to date and accurate so that team members across Change Healthcare can find the information when they need it to create trusted insights.

What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?
Critical thinking, process design and extremely organized. General knowledge of business and the processes and departments of a commercial company.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Knowledge of healthcare business activities (claims processing)

How much should I expect to travel?
Little to no travel

Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
