Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Electrical engineers, computer engineers, computer scientists, and telecommunications engineer interns work across engineering functions in our Wireless organization to support the design, development, and optimization of our wireless network. As an engineering intern, you will get to work with senior engineers, as well as working cross functionally with different teams, no matter which role you choose!
- Cloud or VMWare Engineering Intern
As a Cloud or VMWare Engineering Intern you will research, analyze, test, retest, and troubleshoot problems to help design, evaluate, test, deploy, and optimize DISH’s standalone 5G network.
Majors preferred: MS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ years of experience
- Data Scientist Intern
As a Data Scientist Intern you will help to solve high-order problems with our data and identify opportunities to exploit data to generate new insight and business value.
Majors preferred: MS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ years of experience
- Device Engineering Intern
As a Device Engineering Intern, you will help to generate and maintain performance and functional requirements for the first standalone 5G broadband network in the US’s compliance and certification.
Majors preferred: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
- Network Engineering Intern or Network Security Engineering Intern
As a Network Engineering Intern or Network Security Engineering Intern you will use knowledge of IP networks to optizmie complex LAN/WAN/RAN and Firewall configurations.
Majors preferred: BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and Network security certifications and cloud experience are pluses!
- RF Optimization and Design Engineering Intern
As an RF Optimization and Design Engineering Intern you will perform design activities related to building the first standalone 5G broadband network in the US.
Majors preferred: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
- Wireless Core Engineering Intern
As a Wireless Core Engineering Intern you will focus on the deployment of our 5G core powered by Nokia and Mavenir. You will be part of an operational team working in a live production environment.
Majors preferred: MS in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering and 3+ years of experience
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Preferred to be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree (non-MBA) program with an expected graduation date between December 2022 and August 2023.
