Management consulting Internship program (North Carolina) - Summer 2022

Cornerstone Advisors/ / PeerMetrix is a national management consulting firm offering a wide range of consulting services to meet the needs of regional and mid-size banks and credit unions, as well as financial vendors throughout the country.
We are looking for Bachelor undergraduate (rising senior) students in business-related fields: BS, BA, MBA, Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics or other related degrees with a business and/or quantitative focus who have exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills and a GPA above of 3.4 The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with working knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
This is a full-time, paid internship in Apex, NC (PeerMetrix). Program dates: June 1st - July 29th, 2022
What You’ll Do
As part of the Cornerstone/ PeerMetrix Intern Program, you will develop a broad understanding of our consulting business, as well as gain deep insights into your department. As an active member of the team, you will support and drive projects that both challenge and develop you. Our interns get hands-on experience solving complex business problems for our clients and delivering on projects that will have a long-term impact on Cornerstone’s future. You’ll make new connections, partner with experienced consultants, and business leaders to sharpen the skills you need to succeed in your future career. Without question, the work you do will prepare you for a career in consulting. A typical employee spends eight+ hours a day at work. · Negotiating multi-million-dollar technology contracts
· Creating business cases for emerging technology
· Assessing a bank’s digital user experience relative to competition
· Creating financial models
· Benchmarking performance relative to peers
· Writing industry research reports
· Conducting financial research to understand the drivers of earnings per share
· Market research to help banks stay on top of emerging trends and determine their strategic direction
