Clinical Supply Consultant

We are looking for an Optimization Consultant to join our Life Sciences team in Cambridge, MA.

What you’ll do

As a Consultant, you will be optimizing the clinical supply chain of our pharma and biotech partners. By using our unique clinical supply chain forecasting, and optimization platform, you will support various departments such as clinical trial supply, clinical operations, and manufacturing in reducing the waste and cost of clinical trials, managing the risk for patients, and optimizing the manufacturing of drugs. 

Optimization:
We bring value to our pharma partners by using the latest technologies and analytical methods such as simulation and optimization techniques. You will learn to use our clinical trial forecasting, risk management, and optimization software to provide operational and strategic insights to our pharma partners. You will help our pharma partners to manage risk and decrease the waste and cost of their trials.

Project management:
Our projects involve multiple stakeholders from different departments such as manufacturing, clinical trial supply, sourcing, clinical operations, distribution, operational excellence, technology, and finance, and from various levels of responsibility. Working as a member of a team of consultants from diverse backgrounds, you will be in charge of projects dealing with supply planning, budget, and supply chain.

Customer focus:
Building strong relationships with our pharma partners is key. You will need to understand our pharma partners’ needs and to communicate clearly in order to present project outcomes. Defining requirements, gathering information and data, identifying key parameters, constraints and opportunities for optimization, as well as explaining project outcomes will be the main parts of your work. You will also take part in implementing change management processes at clients’ organizations. Effective professional communication across different responsibility levels and departments is going to be crucial.


About you

  • You hold a degree in Life Sciences/Engineering or related fields, or equivalent work experience; 
  • You have 3 to 6 years professional experience or you are a PhD graduate;
  • Prior experience in clinical trials and/or supply chain is a plus;
  • You are results-oriented: you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • You are customer-focus: you put the pharma partner at the center and make sure to answer their needs within defined timelines and with high quality standards
  • You are a project manager: you have excellent project management skills with a proactive and constructive approach;
  • You have outstanding communication skills;
  • You have self leadership: you are a real team player, creative, with a sense of responsibility and initiative. you are ready to endorse this new challenge. 
  • You are open-minded and you like to work in an international environment.
  • US Citizens or Permanent Residents only - we do not provide Visa sponsorship

Travel: ~ 20% (must be open to international travel)
Start Date: March 2022
Location: Cambridge, MA, USA
Internal job level: Consultant or Senior consultant, depending on level of experience
