Business Planning - Market Analyst Summer Intern
About our group:
This position is part of our Business Planning organization which includes the responsibilities of Market Research, Consolidation, Analysis, Demand Planning, Price Positioning, and Business Unit Strategy. Our group’s charter is to define short- and long-term market trends facing the global storage industry, accurately forecast the market demand, while working alongside Business Marketing to forecast business verticals.
About the role - you will:
You will support Market Research functions via internal portal contributions while gaining market understanding, data analytics via software programs, and business vertical modeling thru Excel and team interactions
About you:
We are looking for someone who will be comfortable working closely with business teams but also deal with complex numerical analysis, modeling techniques and company data information sets.
Your experience includes:
- Interest in business markets, experience in statistical modeling and data analysis projects, Excel understanding and modeling, and logic programming experience
- Should be currently in BA/BS or MS program pursuing a degree in Business/Data or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Must be enrolled in school fall of 2022 and be available to start May/June for summer internship.
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with Alteryx, Sharepoint, and Tableau
