Fresno Unified School District has an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished, innovative trailblazer with the Office of African American Academic Acceleration (A4).
 
The A4 Executive Director (General) provides leadership and strategic vision to continue advancing African American (AA) student achievement and necessary conditions for positive outcomes through our highly effective districtwide programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will maintain our successful programs, improving them and creating new programs that continue to close the academic achievement gap for African American students in Fresno Unified. By continuing to accelerate African American student achievement, Fresno Unified School District will ensure African American graduates are prepared for college, career and beyond.
 
Candidates must have a complementary set of skills and experience to plan, coordinate, develop, implement, and maintain services to our African American students. Moreover, the model applicant must be a strong advocate for African American students, must be data-driven with a student first focus and must promote a culture of equity and inclusion for our African American students, families, employees, and community at large.


 
Requirements:

Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree in business or related field and five years increasingly responsible supervisory and/or management experience; advanced degree preferred.

Valid California driver's license.
