Business Analyst- Systems and Processes

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate across functions (Deal Team, IR, Accounting, Legal, Tax, BD, EA) to collect, validate, and document data and reporting requirements
  • Own and manage multiple technology and process improvement projects end-to-end
  • Drive technology change within the organization generating documentation and conducting training
  • Act as a liaison between business users, IT, and Third-Party software vendors
  • Participate and facilitate user acceptance testing.
  • Negotiate contracts and contract renewals with software vendors
  • Provide continuous evaluation of technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with the organization’s business objectives
  • Build presentations for senior leadership

Desired Background/Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related concentration; MBA is a plus
  • Prior experience with system administration, system improvement or implementation projects, either internally or as a third-party consultant is required, including:
  • Business requirements and process documentation;data migration and software testing; project management
  • Prior experience in private equity operations/reporting and/or private equity fund accounting/administration or systems is preferred
  • Possess strong organizational skills to manage and execute across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines; the candidate should be a self-starter that handles complexity well and identifies potential solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong academic performance
  • Verbal and written communication skills commensurate with executive pedigree
  • Can establish credibility with all internal stakeholders in the development process
