Senior Systems Analyst, Institutional Research
Arts and Science is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join the Institutional Research team. This individual will manage ties between local area network databases and mainframe databases; analyze, develop and maintain client/server information systems for FAS; develop and maintain existing applications in the client/server environment.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree and
Required Experience:
5+ years' professional level experience including development of client/server systems or an equivalent combination. Must include experience with development of applications on a relational database management systems, programming, and troubleshooting problems.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with web-based applications, especially Active Server Pages (ASP), ASP.net, C#, and Javascript or VBScript. Preferred experience with ETL and relational database programming (SQL Server - SSMS).
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills. Ability to work with users to identify problems and develop solutions. Must include programming experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and/or Microsoft Access. Knowledge of Microsoft Basic from either Visual Basic or Word/Excel/Access Basic
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft IIS.
