AmeriCorps VISTA - Small Business Support Associate

This position is located in Salinas, California. The Small Business Support VISTA will actively tackle projects to implement economic development recommendations from the Alisal Vibrancy Plan and the Blueprint for Relief, Recovery, and Resiliency that support small businesses impacted by the pandemic related economic downturn and that promote the Alisal as an attractive shopping destination. The purpose of the AmeriCorps Vista Small business support is to provide students of graduate and undergraduate programs with professional economic development experience in a public sector organization. This program is intended to provide one year of full time Volunteer experience. Upon the student's completion of the one service year, the applicant should have adequate training and experience necessary for an entry-level economic development position within the public sector.
