Data Engineer Intern
Summary

The intern will assist the Database Engineers on the team in building new features, deploying existing features, QA the data and help with writing technical documentation.

Responsibilities
- Provide assistance and work with Database Engineers in building and testing SQL and NoSQL database solutions
- Assist in determining business requirements and planning and deploying test systems - QA data imported by various processes
- Investigate, analyze, correct and document reported data defects
- Create and maintain technical specification documentation
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science or related field
- Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts
- Some experience with NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch, Cassandra or MongoDB
- Experience with scripting languages such as Java, Python or GO
- Familiarity with Spark and Kafka is a plus
