Compensation Analyst

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the administration of the Company’s compensation program, including the evaluation of new and existing positions. Develops recommendations for wage programs, including cost impact estimates and other related analysis. Handles special projects related to market analysis, wage survey participation, and audit compliance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

·     Evaluate new and existing positions and recommend appropriate pay ranges
·        Participate in wage program surveys and maintain subsequent data
·        Create, maintain, and audit job descriptions
·        Maintain audit compliance processes and procedures
·        Assist with analytical projects related to wage program updates, new job creation, and ongoing market analysis
·        Serve as first point of contact for inquiries from properties and departments regarding requests from the Compensation Department
·        Analyze data to create reports, presentations, and recommendations for compensation best practices
·        Work across departments such as HRIS, Payroll, and IT on cross-functional projects and effective solutions
·        Lead or participate in projects such as time-in-motion studies, acquisition and conversion activities, and annual merit/salary review programs
·        Provide input and serve as subject matter expert on cross-functional teams
·        Assist with wage program design and creation
·        Other duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

·        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience
·        Three years of experience working in compensation, HR analytics, or similar field
·        Proven ability to analyze various metrics and make recommendations with supportive data
·        General knowledge of Human Resources and related best practices
·        PHR, SHRM-CP, or CCP preferred
·        Experience working in a multi-state, multi-property/entity environment preferred
·        Strong ability to prioritize work and function with competing priorities
