Risk Management Analyst | Verition Fund Management

Job Summary:

· We are looking for an Analyst to join our Risk Management team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Partner with Portfolio Managers and other specialists to discuss and evaluate risk profile

· Identify, monitor and measure portfolio risk, performance and pnl drivers

· Support research and statistical analysis about strategies and securities

· Build, maintain and improve current risk and performance frameworks leveraging large and unstructured datasets

Required Experience/Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Mathematic, Sciences or a related field

· Demonstrated ability to complete high-level, investment-related research

· Prefer experience in a quantitative role within a trading environment or experience in a position applying advanced quantitative techniques to solving highly complex data intensive problems

· Strong analytical skills; experience working with and analyzing large datasets

· Strong mathematical and statistical modeling skills (i.e. time-series and cross-sectional skills) preferred

· Proficiency in coding, with experience using statistical packages (e.g. R, Python)
