Our first office opened in New York City in 2016 and since then we have rapidly expanded through organic growth and acquisitions, with additional hubs in Philadelphia, Dallas and Boston. Our US team started with ~30 consultants, and now with a current team of ~120 consultants, we have strong ambitions to grow our US team to 1000 consultants by 2025.

Position Overview
As a Business Analyst, you will work on strategy, operations, technology, and regulatory projects for a wide range of clients. During the course of your work, your involvement with your engagement team and your clients will foster a familiarity with consulting methodologies and approaches. You will have opportunities to demonstrate initiative, take ownership of client deliverables, interact with the client at various management levels, and ultimately make your mark on the Wavestone practice.
Responsibilities
/ Working with a Wavestone team on projects for the business lines, functional teams, and
technology departments of financial institutions from strategy definition to implementation
/ Performing accurate assessments and analysis of client activities, and managing day-to-day client
relationships at peer client levels
/ Formalizing written and oral feedback, presentation materials, systems documentation, process
descriptions, evaluations, data summaries and reports
/ Assisting clients in the effective use of management systems, tools, techniques, group problem-
solving, and team-building
/ Comfortable articulating project results and relevant information to share with Wavestone leadership and clients
/ Communicating and coordinating efforts within the client’s environment
/ Contributing to business development (i.e. proposals, market offers, white papers, etc.) and internal
initiatives (i.e. recruitment, training, social events, office culture, etc.)
Qualifications and Requirements
/ Superior academic results through an undergraduate degree
/ Up to 2 years of working or internship experience in consulting or banking
/ Exceptional drive, passion, interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally
and in writing
/ Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities
/ Knowledge-seeking and self-starting attitude
/ Proactive in taking responsibility for various contributions to practice efforts
/ Personal commitment to quality and on-schedule delivery; proven ability to establish and meet
milestones and deadlines
/ Customer-focused mentality to understand and appropriately respond to customers’ business
needs
/ Versatile, flexible, and proactive when resolving technical issues and dealing with ambiguity
/ Basic awareness of latest technology trends and consulting industry
/ Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging work
environment
/ Advanced desktop tool skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project
Travel and Location
This position services our United States locations. There will be a preference for candidates who are within 50miles/commutable distance to our New York City, or Dallas, TX offices and who are willing to commute once in a while to meet with the team and our employees.
