General Internship Requisition: This is an Evergreen Requisition, representing multiple similar internship opportunities . We will keep your application on file for any managers looking for a Marketing Research intern for Summer 2022.
 
We are looking for an intern to join our Marketing Research Division in the Center Valley, PA office. Due to COVID-19 work safety guidelines, this internship may be remote for a portion or all of the internship term at employer's discretion.
 
This program will run from May 23 - August 5, 2022. This is a full-time opportunity involving 40 hours per week.

As an intern at Olympus, you will contribute to our mission by helping your department complete key projects with a focus on medical devices. You will lead independent projects with the support of your team, in addition to shadowing and contributing to higher level initiatives that have a significant impact on the business and the company.
 
Our team is responsible for the product management, lifecycle management, and marketing of medical devices used in medical procedures to help surgeons and medical professionals gain access to best-in-class surgical technology and enhance patient care outcomes.
 
 
Role Responsibilities
As an intern reporting to the Olympus Talent Attraction manager, you will learn about employer branding while helping to build our strategies to attract and retain top talent at Olympus. Potential projects for this summer include:
·      Completing competitor analysis of other medical device companies’ external marketing strategies
·      Conducting market research regarding best practices for attracting candidates
·      Advising on digital marketing strategies for Olympus’s recruiting team
·      Presenting your findings to stakeholders in Human Resources, global Talent Acquisition, and business units
 
Job Requirements
 
Required Qualifications:
 
* Must be enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited 4-year institution.
 
* Must complete sophomore year before the internship begins and graduate after the internship ends.
 
* Preferred fields of study include Marketing, Health Economics, Human Resources, Operations, International Business, Entrepreneurial, Economics, Business Administration or related major.
 
* Must possess excellent analytical and organizational skills.
 
* Must be proficient and have practical knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
 
* Must be able to work well within a team and independently at times with limited guidance.
 
* Must not now or in the future require immigration-related sponsorship. **

Preferred Qualifications:
 
* Experience with or interest in data collection, data analysis, and/or market research.
 
* Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize/execute multiple concurrent tasks.
 
* Strong, professional communication skills.
 
* Skilled in presentation development and public speaking.
 
* General curiosity and a desire to learn new material.
