Supply Chain and Industrial Engineer Interns - Summer 2022

We’re currently seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join our team as a Summer Intern in Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain at our Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) group; a business unit within Howmet Aerospace, a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. The Company’s primary businesses focus on jet engine components, aerospace fastening systems and titanium structural parts necessary for mission-critical performance and efficiency in aerospace and defense applications, as well as forged wheels for commercial transportation. An internship with HFS allows students to be a part of dynamic and innovative projects, while providing ample mentoring and professional development opportunities. Working alongside leadership, HFS interns have the opportunity to sharpen their skills through hands-on learning. An internship with HFS will provide you with invaluable experience that you could utilize in any role, and it is Howmet’s goal to evaluate its interns for potential entry-level openings.
Internship opportunities will be at one of our facilities located across Southern California: Carson, Torrance, Fullerton, or City of Industry.
Basic Qualifications:

  • 3.0 GPA and above
  • Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
  • Prior work experience.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date of Fall 2022 or Spring 2023
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
