Government Financial Analyst

Job Description
EBAD seeks a Government Financial Analyst reporting to the Manager, Government Accounting & Control in Simsbury, CT location.

  • Prepare monthly Time & Material, Progress Payment, and other Cost Re-determinable Billings
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of Final Overhead Rates and Forward Pricing Rates
  • Analyze actual rates vs forward pricing rates and recommend forward pricing rate updates when necessary
  • Support any DCAA and DCMA audits or annual data requests
  • Assist in review of proposals and pricing recommendations or scenarios with local Bid & Proposal team, Engineering, Operations, and Program Management
  • Drive new commercial pricing on yearly basis
  • Lead annual refresh of commercial database

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3+ years of finance and accounting experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Strong skills in MS Windows – Excel, Word, Teams, and Power-point. 
  • Must be detail orientated, ability to multi-task and have excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excels in a dynamic, changeable work environment 
  • Ability to work independently
  • Pricing experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations is a plus
