Project Coordinator - Community Development Department
The entry level position is ideal for a candidate looking to get exposure to local government and, more specifically, the functions of the Community Development Department. An ideal candidate would have strong customer service skills, the ability to function in a fast-paced environment and represent the City of Peoria to the public in a professional manner. The position coordinates multiple projects within the Community Development Department by providing advance administrative/financial support to the Department. Projects primarily focus on neighborhood revitalization programs being created with the Federal American Rescue Plan funds. In addition, the position provides complex administrative work related to the real estate function of the Community Development Department. . Please note that this position is a grant funded position expected to last approximately two years.
