Investment Sales Analyst at CBRE Hotels

Job Details:
  • Operate financial models in Excel and provide in‐depth property analysis utilizing financial statements and other industry reports
  • Analyze real estate trends including market occupancy, leasing, and sales activity as well as locational drivers that affect an underlying property’s value
  • Manage the inflow and analysis of information being provided for each appointment
  • Critical to maintain timelines and integrity of information being utilized in assignments
  • Write compelling property marketing materials and presentations
  • Participate in pitching and executing brokerage assignments
  • Work in support of investment sales professionals
  • Track new development and noteworthy submarket news; disseminate information to teammates
  • Assist with preparing and presenting the results of analyses, including graphics and charts in a clear and concise manner for property valuations and strategic considerations of current and potential client holdings
  • Actively assist in the research, writing, and proofing of market intelligence for marketing materials
  • Coordinate with clients during pre‐marketing, marketing, and due diligence processes
  • Establish strong working relationships with the team and clients to understand and identify market intelligence needs
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Finance, Real Estate, Management, or related field of study preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with large complex data sets
  • Highly organized work practices and effective time management skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and to anticipate critical path requirements in order to meet client deadlines
  • Willingness to work hard in a transaction‐oriented environment and to take ownership of project outcomes
  • Interpersonal skills that include the ability to influence teammates and clients
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills ability to interact effectively and professionally with a wide variety of internal and external parties
  • Demonstrated interest with 2 years of experience, preferably in real estate
  • Strong analytical skills, financial/math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret various types of real estate documents, including leases, contracts, and financial statements
  • Ability to think creatively to resolve problems
