Job Title:

Oracle Apps DBA Administrator

 

Location:

Hillsboro, Oregon

 

Position Duties:

Responsible for managing the performance, integrity and security of company database systems . Duties include:

•         Development using Oracle Applications (r12) which includes Oracle EBS, Fusion Middleware, SOA, GTM, Agile

•         Cloning and patching applications, databases

•         Handling Concurrent managers and sysadmin functionality

•         Performance tuning at DB and apps level

•         Workflow skills & Web/forms server Knowledge

•         Managing complex data warehouse environment

•         Handle Oracle RAC DB, Dataguard•  RMAN Backup & Recovery

•         Work with Oracle OEM

•         Use Advanced Architectures (Multi-Node, RAC, ASM)

•         Drive performance issues and complex architecture issues

•         Responsible for setting up DR environment and supporting periodic DR drill

•         Perform platform migration

•         Develop using SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Scripting

•         Develop using SQL Developer, Toad, Putty, version control systems

•         Work with Database Architecture, Operating Systems, Client/ Server Architecture, Middleware and Hardware (Servers, SAN, Network)

•         Strong team player who values the success of the team as highly as their own personal success

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field

 

5 years of experience

 

Prior experience to include:

•         Oracle EBS Administration

•         Setup and maintain Oracle Enterprise Manager

•         Oracle DBA

•         Setup and manage Oracle FMW

•         Cloning and Patching applications

•         Oracle DB upgrades (including 19c)

•         Performance tuning

•         Backup & recovery using RMAN

•         Shell Scripting

•         Recovery setup and maintenance
