City of Portland Development Review Analyst (Analyst III) - LIMITED DURATION
This position is Limited Duration. Persons appointed to limited term positions will be designated as limited duration employees whose appointment shall not exceed two (2) years except for the extension of grants or funding from outside sources.

In support of reforms to the permitting system, we are seeking a Development Review Analyst to be an essential member of a small but mighty team leading the effort to improve the permitting process. They will perform professional complex administrative, management, operational, statistical, financial, and other analyses in support of performance improvement across eight development-related Bureaus.
The Development Analyst reports to the Strategic Planning Manager and will develop and implement improvements focused on process, performance data and system structure. They will have familiarity with continuous improvement applications, experience with projects related to the development permitting process and change management skills. Their work will span across the eight City bureaus involved in development planning and permitting.
