Supply Chain Assistant- Entry Level
You Will:
- Involvement and coordination support of diverse supply chain projects within our organization, such as inventory scrap reduction, master data review, production cost reduction or material flow
- Investigate how to optimize our master data, procedures & processes in two key business areas
- Monitors master data quality and consistency and coordinates required adaptations with the responsible functions
- Development and execution of reports linked to WIP Planning and Inventory Management
- Support the Materials team with ad hoc activities
- Frequent contacts with Production planning, Material Planning, Production, Warehouse/Logistics and Inventory Control teams.
- Opportunity to work independently, while being provided with the necessary team support
- Assisting the Bowling Green Materials Team in their operational activities and enhancing analysis to improve the quality of master data in two key areas role leads the plant level production planning/ scheduling process to ensure the proper flow of work and materials in the plant and monitor performance to drive improvements.
You Bring:
- Bachelor or Master student who has successfully completed first semesters of studies in the field of industrial engineering, operations, supply chain management or similar
- Analytical skills & sense for accuracy
- Proficient level of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint (SAP is an advantage)
- Team-player who thinks in terms of solutions, independent and driven by results
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication skills
- APICS or equivalent certification is advantageous.
