Intern – Driving Behavior Analysis and Abnormal Driving Detection Research

Job Summary:
Toyota is seeking PhD students in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering to join Intelligent Mobility System team and develop next generation intelligent transportation application.

Objective:
·      Research on driving behavior analysis and abnormal driving detection
·      Develop algorithms/model to infer behavioral patterns, conduct detection analysis
·      Evaluation of the algorithms/models through simulation and real traffic driving data

Required Qualifications:
  • Current enrollment of PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge in applied statistics and time-series data analytics
  • Good understanding of machine learning concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning)
  • Programming skills in Python and knowledge in data visualization

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in driving behavior analysis research is a plus
  • Knowledge in multivariate statistical data analytics is a plus
  • Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS) is a plus
