2023 Private Equity Analyst
Falfurrias Capital is seeking a pre-MBA Analyst to join the firm's investment team for a summer 2023 start. This is a unique opportunity to directly enter private equity and have exposure to a wide range of activities including deal execution, portfolio company analysis and reporting, and industry research. The job responsibilities could include the items below and others:
- Support Falfurrias principals in the deal and portfolio company life cycle
- Analyze numerous investment opportunities and manage transaction processes
- Actively conduct due diligence and acquisition analysis
- Independently drive research and sourcing activities
- Participate in portfolio management
Qualifications
- Senior in college
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated leadership experience
- Preferably Business/Economics majors, but strong applicants with other majors are encouraged to apply
- Interested in a career in private equity
- Expertise in using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Intellectually curious and intrinsically motivated
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
