The Administrative Analyst is accountable for improving student achievement through the effective management of an assigned area; direct and perform complex professional technical and analytical work in one or more assigned areas including coordinating and leading major and challenging projects to expand data-driven practices and programs. Candidates must have a complementary set of skills and experience that will allow for the development and implementation of processes for district-wide data validation and management. An ideal candidate can perform a variety of technical and analytical data integration as it relates to State CALPADS mandates; coordinate with multiple departments and school site staff in the collection and input of data requirements; and provide support, guidance, and training to staff in data aligned to state and federal accountability requirements. The ideal candidate would have experience in the following areas:

  • Coordinating with educational partners to ensure timeliness for data aligned to local, state, and federal requirements are met with accuracy and precision
  • Managing, planning, and coordinating the implementation of local, state, and federal assessment and online reporting systems including but not limited to district-identified universal screeners, CALPADS, complex data analysis
  • Using technical knowledge and knowledge of district data resources to consult with school sites and other divisions to solve sophisticated data problems
  • Creating, scheduling, and documenting custom extracts and ad-hoc reports
 



 Requirements:

  • Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree or equivalent supplemented by course work in research design, statistics, testing and measurement.
