Data Analyst for Fintech Advisory Firm
MAPP Advisors is looking for an ambitious, self-starter to join our team as an Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience working directly with senior management to build out MAPP’s Portfolio Optimization division. This division analyzes big data sets and tracks complex money movement to identify revenue opportunities and cost savings for clients. The engagements also involve consulting services such as implementing strategic revenue initiatives, vendor selection and contract negotiations, and compliance reviews.
Our internship program provides a deep understanding of the fintech industry, the largest investment sector in the world for the last three years. The position reports to the Head of our Portfolio Optimization Division who is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Remote applicants are accepted, with the ability to travel to meet with team members and clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with client communication and project management, including document collection, review, and organization
- Ingest, review, and sanitize data to buildout and maintain multiple data sets for analysis and reporting
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Review internal processes to identify and implement new analyses techniques, operational efficiencies, and process automation to contribute to the improvement of existing processes
