Inventory Coordinator

About
Cucina, Inc. is a small, fast-paced Alameda artistic kitchen design firm.
We are seeking an energetic, “all-hands-on-deck” individual to come on board full-time as the Logistics Coordinator.
The coordinator will be involved with multiple aspects of design, and must be comfortable with receiving tasks on a needs basis.
Your goal is to assist the main designer and facilitate the workflow for the company.
You will also be in charge of keeping inventory of materials and items needed to make the job possible.
On the job, you will learn many pieces of design, including what it takes to run a firm, seeing projects from start to finish, gaining knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, color palettes, and much more.

  • Flexible – Able to smoothly transition from one project/task to the next, and return to previous  assignments without reminders
  • Able to work under pressure with strict deadlines, independently, and with others
  • Great Communicator, able to communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Circle back at the end of day
  • MAC proficiency is a MUST
  • Google Suite proficiency is a MUST
  • MUST be proficient in Sheets, Numbers, and Excel
  • 18+ years old
  • Efficient with Internet searching and ordering
  • Must be a person of integrity, trustworthy, with good follow thru
  • Upbeat, positive, professional, and cheery attitude
  • Initiative to follow through with pending items, anticipating questions and creating solutions. (keep busy)
  • Acquainted with social media such as Slack, Facebook, Zoom, etc.
  • Interested in design

Responsibilities
Keeping Principal Designer updated on emails and completed tasks; circling back at the end of day.
Making appointments in calendar
Update Principal Designer on daily calendar throughout the day
Digital folder updates and using coherent naming conventions
Keep client Dropbox and Dashboards updated
Sample check out/in
Keep record of which tile, CT, door, and chip samples are with clients
Reading/sorting emails
Draft emails over the phone and computer
Organizing stock and new deliveries to be distributed to jobs
