Job Description
As Senior Developer focused on media data and technology solutions, you are joining a community of data scientists at The Company – we are researchers in search of the customer story. We are the voice of the customer. Customers share their stories with us each day, and it is our job to tell their story.? Our data science team is known for solving client and customer problems, employing appropriate statistical and analytic approaches.

You will be hands-on with respect to developing packages and data access solutions for rapid deployment and delivery of actionable insights.? You will use the full suite of The Company's technical and visual tools – Python, Git, Azure Data bricks, and other specific internal tools – to take us to the next level of automated delivery of data science solutions.?

• Experience with API Design and Design Patterns
• Experience with Automated Testing (Unit Tests, Integration Tests, Test Driven Development a plus)

Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, analytics, statistics, mathematics, or related discipline
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Azure, Databricks, Spark, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, and similar technologies
• 2+ years of experience in analytics across ad technology, digital media, and advertising
• 2+ years of experience using advanced algorithms, programming languages, or technologies in the development of technical analytics solutions or capabilities
• 3+ years of experience with PySpark/Spark
• Proven ability to streamline and scale manual/repetitive solutions
• Proven ability to juggle and prioritize multiple workstreams
• Strong technical skills working with large datasets via PySpark and/or Python

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with a wide range of technical personas (i.e., engineering, architecture, data scientists, etc.) to identify and implement best practices around automating and scaling deliverables
• Serve as early adopter of data science tools, platforms, and processes
• Document new workflows and provide feedback to internal platform owners
• Quality Assurance of own code and that of team members to ensure the highest quality work is being delivered to our clients
• Identify gaps/opportunities with our existing data solutions and explore options to close gaps
• Support development work end-to-end, including documentation, version control, CI/CD, quality checks, and socialization
• Collaborate with data scientists to realize efficiencies and create standard processes, such as automation of code lines, removing manual tasks, or re-engineering existing processes to make them more efficient
• Contribute to the development of best practice and knowledge management, and champion the capture and sharing of knowledge across the data science community
