Sr. Director, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain & Demand Planning

The Senior leader will drive continuous improvement across the entire company manufacturing enterprise.

Responsibilities 

Lead and motivate a team responsible for manufacturing, quality, supply chain and demand planning strategy and development in order to meet forecasted needs of the business with attention to quality improvement, timeliness, efficiency and profit.  
Collaborate with internal partners to drive business value in a way that is inclusive, collaborative, and supportive.  
Attract, select, and retain critical talent for the team and coach team members in professional and career development. 
Provide clear, specific goals to the team and communicate real-time performance feedback regularly through regular 1-1 meetings and performance discussions. 
Lead and embrace a culture that focuses on the future with technology, people and process always moving in a forward direction.
Develop and implement quality inspection criteria and procedures. Manage all quality related aspects of supplier relationships, including corrective action plans.
Partner with R&D and Sourcing to ensure alignment for new product manufacturing.
Train manufacturing personnel for in-process inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
Implement Quality Methodology and drive savings linked to the improvement processes.
Develop and certify new manufacturers.
Continuously analyze manufacturing data and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Identify and utilize methods to make manufacturing process more efficient and effective (reducing waste, using lean, etc.) Refine all Processes, Flows, and Layouts.
Interact with suppliers, third party manufacturers , fabricators and internal manufacturing to create readiness and capabilities.
Lead in house printing mill and drapery manufacturing.  
Lead Quality assurance and quality controls for all WT aspects plus finished product and printing.
Manage internal escalation with customer and internal teams.
Formulate and execute solutions for any technical or processing issues with manufacturers.
Provide performance measurement reports to ensure every process is tracking on-time and that actions are taken to solve issues from root cause. Create checks and balances.
Act as Workstream lead in all Technology projects.
Perform other duties as required. 

Qualifications:

10+ years of overall experience in manufacturing, supply chain and operations.
5+ years of experience building and managing a strong team (10-20) team of manufacturing, demand planning and supply chain leaders and professionals.  
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
Demonstrated experience in making articulate and effective oral presentations to different audiences. 
Excellent interpersonal skills including such areas as team spirit, negotiation, collaboration, pitching in where needed, valuing and respecting individuals irrespective of seniority levels. 
Demonstrated ability to negotiate with and manage external vendors. 
Ability to systematically gather relevant information from diverse sources to address an issue and make a prompt and insightful decision. 
Excellent organizational and leadership skills. 
Proven experience in developing and executing projects, project ROI, meeting deadlines, and operating under tight time constraints. 
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related fields, or the equivalent work experience.
