Students: Current students enrolled in accredited educational institutions from high school to graduate level. Includes internships, pathways and other student programs.
Clarification from the agency
Individuals enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an institution of higher education pursuing a baccalaureate or graduate degree on at least a part-time basis.
Duties
At the GS-7 level, you will:
- Analyze and summarize a variety of environmental program information data for use in preparing reports and program evaluations.
- Performs science studies of a standard nature on regulatory and compliance issues and problems.
- Prepares initial recommendations for solutions to be reviewed by higher graded staff.
- Supports higher-graded staff in planning for program management of environmental programs.
- Assists staff in preparation of materials for, and participation in, briefings with managers.
- Review literature for assessment and information gathering.
At the GS-9 level, you will:
- Independently perform recurring, well-precedented regulatory and compliance projects which require use of standard methods and techniques.
- Perform and monitor the full range of standard procedures in regulatory and compliance work.
- Analyze and summarize a variety of environmental program information data for use in preparing reports and program evaluations.
- Prepare recommendations for solutions to be reviewed by higher graded staff.
- Supports higher-graded staff in planning for program management of environmental programs.
- Prepare materials for, and participate in, briefings with managers.
- Review literature for assessment and information gathering.
