This position is in the Office of the Regional Administrator, Region 1, Water Division, Drinking Water and Municipal Assistance Branch, Drinking Water Quality and Protection Unit. If selected, you must work at the location stated in this announcement.

Duties
You will:
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to federal, state, and tribal governments and public water suppliers on drinking water treatment and design.
- Resolve programs and complex issues associated with contaminants in drinking water.
- Oversee implementation of Tribal and State Public Water Supply Supervision programs and grants through coordinated reviews and training.
- Promote compliance of one or more national Primary Drinking Water Regulations.
- Serve as Project Officer for water treatment, planning, design, and technical assistance grants, educate states and communities on grant opportunities and develop practical outreach materials and tools.
When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
