Global Supply Manager

Responsible for the delivery of high-quality services, components, and equipment through creation and maintenance of supplier relationships. Identify potential suppliers on a global basis. Develop spend strategies, identify potential suppliers, analyze supplier capabilities, select suppliers and determine prices, terms, and conditions of agreements. Evaluate supplier business proposals and present recommendations that will result in cost savings, avoidance, or containment. Coordinate the supplier selection process with engineering teams. Evaluate supplier core competencies, competitive positioning, and provide guidance on final supplier selection. Identify supplier consolidation opportunities through strategic sourcing. Ensure NDA, SOW's and Master Purchase Agreements are positioned appropriately before initiating business. Ensure commercial terms are agreed and documented for RFI's, RFP's and RFQ's. Negotiate commodity pricing to ensure delivery of high-quality materials at reduced cost. Develop key performance measures for suppliers, monitor performance and resolve disputes as needed. 
 
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Chemistry or related. Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or a combination thereof. Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Chemistry or related and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or a combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and seven (7) years of experience as described above.
 
Work experience to include: Strategic Sourcing; Cost analysis; Contract negotiation; Resolution management; Procurement; and Value Stream mapping. Approximately 10% domestic and 15% international travel required to Asia Pacific (China, South Korea, Japan), Europe (Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Hungary), and other unanticipated supplier locations for supplier production facility audits, on-site commercial negotiations, production, and business reviews. Travel expenses to be paid by employer. Successful completion of reference and background checks is required.
